Hankook Tire’s Entren Eco was found to be the most fuel-efficient tire by Daejeon Consumer Union’s recent report. The consumer report tested six “environmentally-friendly” tires manufactured by six companies.

Kumho Tire’s Eco Wing S was rated the second most efficient, followed by Michelin’s Energy Saver Plus. A tire each from Goodyear and Bridgestone were also tested.
In addition to fuel efficiency, the consumer group tested tires for durability and braking distance. Nexen Tire’s N Blue Eco rated the most durable at a high speed, while Michelin’s Energy Saver Plus was rated the best in a braking distance test.
