Hankook Tire America Corp. is recalling 1,495 Dynapro MT RT03 tires in size LT325/60R18 because they may develop a separation at the tread/belt edge, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Del-Nat Recalling Chaparral Tires
Del-Nat Tire Corp. is recalling some 2,660 Chaparral Radial XT tires, size P235/75R15, due to blistering concerns. According to NHTSA, the tires were produced from September 2008 through December 2009. Some of the tires, said NHTSA, “experience blistering or bubbles on the tire’s sidewall.” The tires were made in China by Guizhou Tyre Corp.

NHTSA Calling for Tougher Truck Tire Testing
NHTSA has proposed an extensive rewrite of truck tire testing and labeling requirements, including more stringent endurance and high-speed testing.
