Goodyear Recalling Dunlop Trailer Tires
Goodyear is recalling some 11,000 Dunlop SP193 commercial trailer tires in size 295/75R22.5 due to concerns over air loss. As many as 11,994 tires – produced between Jan. 24 and May 29, 2010 – are being recalled and will be replaced for free, according to NHTSA. The recall is slated to start as of Sept.
Bridgestone Calling Back Bus Tires
Bridgestone Americas is recalling some Bridgestone R192 medium truck tires in size 275/70R22.5. The tires, used primarily on city transit buses, have a sidewall wear indicator that may be too deep, and could potentially expose casing cords. The recall will begin next month, and owners will receive replacements free of charge.
