Harvey Brodsky, ousted two months ago as head of the Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau, has formally launched a competing organization the Retread Tire Association (RTA). The RTA, said Brodsky, has been established as a non-profit; he will serve as managing director. Also, the RTA announced the names of its first 36 members.
