Zurcher Leaves DSP, Forming Commercial Dealer 20 Groups

Stu Zurcher has sold his stake in Dealer Strategic Planning and has opened his own 20-group developer, this one focused on the commercial tire business.

Zurcher’s new Strategic Alliance Group, based in Angola, Ind., will provide much of the same services as DSP, but will be oriented to tire dealers whose primary business is in selling and servicing medium truck, OTR and farm tires. Zurcher has already started forming 20 groups among commercial dealers, he said.

“I saw the opportunity to branch out and grow a complimentary business using the proven 20-group concept to assist commercial dealers in improving their profitability. I will now have the time to devote my resources toward building this new business venture,” said Zurcher.

DSP will continue operating under owner Norm Gaither, former Cooper executive Pat Brown and ex-Bridgestone executive Paul Chizeck.

Dealers interested in learning more about Zurcher’s Strategic Alliance Group can contact him at 877-875-1695 or [email protected].
