Zafco has launched a new website – www.armstrongtire.com– for its Armstrong branded TBR tires. The site marks the resurgences of the Armstrong brand in the U.S.
“We want the user to ride through the history and future of Armstrong in a digital realm. It’s important they understand the heritage of the rhino and the brand’s values to see how it has evolved into its newer, fiercer, and savvier face” said Carl Casalbore, director of Armstrong in North America.
Armstrong Tire was founded in 1912 and was dismantled in the late 1980s. Pirelli later acquired the Armstrong name and formed Pirelli-Armstrong Tire Co. In 2012, Zafco made a deal for the brand’s license.
Zafco plans on adding passenger and light truck tires to the Armstrong brand’s line up soon.
