The tiremaker started production at the plant in November 2014 and its 25 acre-space will be expanded with four phases to increase production from 2,000 to 8,000 tires a day, according to the paper.

The plant’s general manager Sanjay Chatterjee said phase one of the increase is operational, while the feasibility studies are phases two and three.
