Yokohama is the "Official Tire of the L.A. Auto Show," is the sponsor of the show’s media center and its display will span nearly 100 feet near the entrance of Los Angeles Convention Center.
Yokohama partnered with Tesla Motors and is providing ultra-high-performance Advan Neova AD07 LTS tires for the Tesla Roadster, which can go 0-60 in about four seconds and reach speeds of 130 mph.
"Partnering with Tesla on the electric Roadster is in line with Yokohama’s corporate mandate, which is to reduce its environmental impact in every way possible," said Jim MacMaster, Yokohama executive vice president. "It’s a way of thinking, an environmental conscience."
