Koplin, a former publisher with Ehlert Publishing and Primedia, will oversee the creation of marketing plans and materials. Koplin previously ran a company that produced motorsports content for ESPN and worked on advertising and marketing for motorcycle and packaged goods companies. He holds an MBA in business from Duke University and an undergraduate degree from Northwestern University.
Palang oversaw communications strategy at K&N Engineering and also worked for Wilwood Engineering and Primedia. She also has experience in motorsports marketing, online marketing and tradeshow management. Palang earned a bachelor’s degree from California Lutheran University and an MBA from Claremont Graduate School.
Koplin will report to Jim MacMaster, Yokohama’s executive vice president of the business division, and Palang will report to Koplin.
