Yokohama Tire Corp. has rolled out a new all-season crossover tire, the Geolandar G055.

The Geolandar G055 features transition grooves with notch sipes that create superior traction in wet and wintry conditions, while maintaining tread block rigidity for improved handling, Yokohama said. Additional circumferential zigzag grooves help channel water away from the tread and an integrated shoulder and full nylon cover improves stability while reducing irregular wear, the tiremaker noted.

Additionally the tire is backed by a 65,000-mile treadwear warranty.

Available in both the U.S. and Canada, the Geolandar G055 comes in 19 sizes, from 16 to 20 inch wheel diameters and in H and V speed ratings.
