The Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG), a program of the Auto Care Association, will host a networking event during the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo. The Young Professionals Program is scheduled for Nov. 5 at the Venetian Hotel Las Vegas.
The program kicks off at 3:45 with “Networking for Your Future” by expert Allison Graham of ElevateBiz. Immediately afterward, attendees are invited to practice their networking skills at the YANG sponsored happy hour in the V Bar from 5-6 p.m.
“YANGsters are the folks who will be running your organization 20 years from now,” said Kathleen Schmatz, Auto Care Association president and CEO. “YANG gives young auto care professionals the opportunity to start to prepare for the future and build their own network of peers, with whom they will move up the career ladder.”
In addition to the Young Professionals Program, members of YANG can participate in Recruiting and Retaining Day, part of the AAPEXedu Conference. YANG members will also featured on the panel discussion, “Developing Millennial Leaders in the Auto Care Industry” on Nov. 3 from 4-5 p.m. at the Venetian Hotel.
All YANG events at AAPEX are free of charge and open to industry professionals under the age of 40. For more information, visit autocare.org/yang.
