World Cup Fever Reaches Aftermarket

(Clacton, U.K./Tyres & Accessories) Maccess has unveiled a range of automotive World Cup merchandise, which it claims will offer stockists high earning potential throughout Spring and Summer.

The football World Cup 2006 takes place throughout the month of June in Germany and is a fantastic opportunity for UK automotive accessory retailers to offer England football team memorabilia to supporters.

Maccess World Cup merchandise is available from March 2006 and includes St George’s cross sunshades, flags and, a range of England team branded car air-fresheners.

David Sussex, marketing director, said: “Major tournaments and events have, in the past, had a negative impact on aftermarket sales, but we are actively assisting stockists in maximising the benefits of selling World Cup merchandise to motorists. World Cup fever touches every retail sector in the UK and this time, thanks to some highly visible England team products from Maccess, the aftermarket is no exception.”
