Touted as the “only driving school of its kind in America teaching safe driving techniques in real winter driving conditions,” the Bridgestone Winter Driving School has taught winter driving skills to thousands of students on its snow and ice courses.
Taught by professional driving instructors, the 2007-08 program includes light duty truck training, trailering on ice and trailering specialty loads on ice, performance rally and ice racing, as well as half- and whole-day courses for regular drivers. All courses begin with classroom instruction, video demonstration and “chalk talk” prior to track exercises.
The school is purpose-built and includes three ice and snow-covered tracks. Group and individual programs are available.
