Wheel manufacturer Weld is expanding its operations at its Kansas City, Mo., headquarters to include new wheel manufacturing.
The company recently expanded manufacturing operations to include HiPer Technology, a manufacturer of high performance “super structural” carbon fiber wheels for all-terrain and side-by-side vehicles. Weld acquired the company last year and moved its operations to Kansas City in February.
Additionally, Weld will add Complete Custom Wheels (CCW) Forged Performance to its Kansas City facility by Dec. 31.
Weld will host a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house on May 19 to celebrate its recent expansion.
“Weld has been on a steady growth path over the past three years and we are excited to celebrate this achievement with our brand ambassadors and our hometown of Kansas City during the upcoming open house,” said Norm Young, president and CEO of Weld.
