Warehouse Fire Destroys Cooper Tires

An Arkansas warehouse leased by Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. caught fire last week, destroying some 100,000 tires.

The fire at the Highland Industrial Park warehouse in Camden, Ark., started last Thursday, and fire officials on the scene said it could burn for several days.

The fire was discovered in the early morning hours, and reports said fire crews were called at around 2 a.m. The frame of the 200,000-square-foot building later collapsed. (Tire Review/Akron)
