The tests compared wet surface braking distances, speed and handling and hydroplaning resistance. Amtel-Vredestein said the Hi-Trac took first place overall based on its average score over 10 tests.
Also in the test were the Goodyear HydraGrip, Continental ContPremiumContact 2, Pirelli P7, Bridgestone Euranza ER300, Nokian NRHi, Michelin Energy, Dunlop SP Sport 01 and other brands.
