Vogue Names The ID Agency as Marketing Communications Group

(Akron/Tire Review) Private brander Vogue Tyre has named The ID Agency, based in Manhattan Beach, Calif., as its new marketing communications agency.

The agency will work to develop a new marketing campaign for Vogue Tyre, which will include advertising, public relations and branding efforts.

“The selection of the ID Agency is part of our strategic plan to position Vogue Tyre as a leading distributor of tires that combine performance with look and sizing that consumers want for their luxury cars and SUVs,” said Greg Hathcock, president of Vogue Tyre.

Hathcock said Vogue Tyre has undergone “significant transformation and development” over the past several years, including the acquisition of Prestige Products Corp., and the opening of a new distribution center in Sante Fe Springs, Calif. to expand its presence on the West Coast.

”During the past five years, we have introduced 12 new tire products that have opened up numerous new segments in the business,” said Hathcock. “Vogue was the first tire company to a launch 20- and 22-inch whitewall and gold stripe tire for use on light trucks and SUVs, and our goal is to work with trend setters to identify new opportunities to introduce more unique products. 2006 will continue to be a year of growth and expansion, and plans are underway to launch additional products designed to provide our customers with even more options for customizing their vehicles.”
