Vipal Rubber’s latest cargo vehicle tread in its ECO line, the VT170 ECO, has earned the EPA’s SmartWay verification.
The VT170 ECO is recommended for use on drive axles and radial tires that travel on paved roads. With low rolling resistance, the tread generates less heat and less fatigue on the casing. The company said the tread also has high traction on wet surfaces and greater resistance to abrasion wear.
The VT170 follows the Eco line by using special rubber compounds developed by Vipal, while meeting efficiency standards in fuel consumption and reduced gas.
