
A new slate of officers will take over the University of the Aftermarket Foundation’s board of trustees.
Former Federal-Mogul Corporation executive Robert Egan, MAAP, was elected to be chairman of the foundation. He will replace Federated Auto Parts CEO Rusty Bishop, MAAP. The following individuals were elected to supporting positions during the foundation’s annual board of trustees meeting:
- Senior Vice Chairman: John R. Washbish, MAAP, president and CEO of Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance.
- Second Vice Chairman: Larry Pavey, AAP, president of Federated Auto Parts.
- Treasurer: William Maggs, MAAP, president and CEO of National Pronto Association.
- Secretary: Joe Pomaranski, MAAP, senior vice president and general manager, global aftermarket for Tenneco, Inc.
Twenty-two other industry executives were also elected to the board for fiscal year 2018. Some will serve in support roles to the board, including J.R. Bishop, AAP, YANG representative; George Keeley, legal counsel; Ken Marker, investment advisor; Nathan Perrine, comptroller; Larry Northup, AAP, AWDA liaison; Margo Shepard, investment advisor; Jennifer Tio, administrator; and Casey Ventrillo, investment advisor.
