National Pronto Association and its warehouse distributor members fund the $2,500 scholarships.

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the criteria outlined in the Pronto section of the Automotive Aftermarket Scholarship Central website and must name Pronto in the sponsor section of their completed application.

Applicants must also be attending a two or four-year accredited college, an ASE/NATEF certified post-secondary automotive/heavy duty/collision technician training program, or any licensed and accredited vocation school. Students graduating from high school in 2017 who plan to attend one of these post-secondary programs are also eligible.

Eligible students may apply online at automotivescholarships.com. The deadline to apply is March 31. All completed scholarship applications submitted by the deadline will be considered for other organizations’ scholarships listed on the website.

“We commend National Pronto and its members for making an investment in the future of the employees and children of its Pronto Auto Service members,” said Tim Lee, MAAP, chairman of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation. “On behalf of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation, we are proud to partner with Pronto to help make continuing education more accessible and affordable for members of the Pronto family.”
