Union Claims Kitchener Closure Hurt Organizing Drive

The United Steelworkers, as a result, have scaled back their efforts at the three plants. "It was just like letting the air out of everything when we heard it," Gord Assman, a former Kitchener employee told the CBC.

The USW set up organization campaign offices near the three MNA plants. But all the action has been moved back to the USW main offices in Moncton, New Brunswick.
