Tyrexpo Asia 2009 Opens for Business 6 Months Early

Tyrexpo Asia 2009, ECI International, have distributed more than 10,000 thousand brochures about the seventh staging of the popular tyre and equipment show.

The exhibition will again take place in the Singapore Expo Centre, but the dates have been brought forward by six months to Mar. 24-26. Traditionally held in September, the show has opted for the earlier dates to secure an exclusive slot in the increasingly-congested Asian exhibition calendar. The move is also designed to give exhibitors and visitors greater flexibility in scheduling their marketing and exhibition activity for the year. Forty-five percent of exhibitors have already decided to appear again in 2009.

Commenting on the launch of the 2009 show, ECI sales director Rowena Suthers said: "2007 was a record year for Tyrexpo Asia, with more stands, more exhibition space and more visitors than ever before. We believe there is still further growth that can be achieved, particularly as the region is in such a dynamic phase, driven by the continued expansion of China and India in particular. By launching the 2009 show now we’re aiming to capitalise on the momentum established with the 2007 event, as well as tapping into the demand for opportunities to promote products and services to an international market, which this show has a proven track record of doing better than any other in the region,” she added.

In addition to the global distribution of sales brochures, marketing activity to promote Tyrexpo Asia 2009 will include regular update newsletters, international press advertising and public relations campaigns, online and email communications and ticket incentives with influential tyre trade publications and organisations.
