York, Neb., police are investigating the theft of 13 tire/wheel assemblies from four tractor/trailer rigs at a local truck dealership.
The July 27 theft at Sahling Kenworth netted an estimated $7,000 in medium truck tires and wheels.
It was the third time that truck dealer was hit; last September thieves boosted 12 tire/wheel assemblies from a truck there, and in August 2012 another 12 tire/wheel assemblies were stolen.
Police believe the same people are likely involved with all these crimes, noting that they would have had to have certain tools and knowledge, and were willing to commit a substantial amount of time to carry out the crime.
