Chinese tiremaker Triangle Group Co. has plans to open its North American headquarters in Franklin, Tenn., as it continues to expand distribution and sales in the U.S., the Tennessean reports.
Triangle Tire Group already has a technical center to help develop tires for the U.S. market in Akron, Ohio, and an office in Miami, Fla., to oversee Latin America.
Triangle North Americas executive team members in marketing, sales, engineering, finance and customer service will occupy an approximately 3,150-square-foot facility at the Dover Centre office complex in Cool Springs, according to local media.
According to local media, Triangle Group Chairman Ding Yuhua; other executives; and other officials from the Weihai, China, headquarters are expected to attend a ribbon-cutting on Nov. 2.
