Trelleborg Wheel Systems added two new sizes to its TM100 range of tires specifically designed for row-crop applications, bringing the total lineup to 11 sizes ranging from 32- to 54-inch rim diameters. 
The new sizes – 380/90R50 151A8 (151B) and 380/90R54 158A8 (158B) – have an R1-W tread pattern with a lug height about 20% deeper than an equivalent R1 tire to give traction tread in wet and muddy soil conditions, the tiremaker said. Suitable for medium and high mechanical front-wheel drive tractors and small sprayers, Trelleborg said the 380/90R50 TM100 is mainly for inter-row sowing applications and also can be used in dual assemblies for traction in open fields.
TM100 tires have a strong casing construction, which combined with their material, ensure high load capacity and exceptional resistance to tire fatigue, according to Trelleborg. All TM tires feature an optimized tread pattern characterized by inter-lug terracing, giving excellent self-cleaning properties, a higher traction capability under torque conditions and less soil transfer to roads, Trelleborg said, adding the shape of the lug and damping capability of the casing guarantee low vibration to improve operator comfort.
