Self-described serial entrepreneur Roger McManus has released his latest book, and had more than a little help from some major names in the tire industry.
Now available in paperback on Amazon.com, McManus’ "Entrepreneurial Insanity in Tire Retailing" was released in December, and is the second in a series. McManus has spent 30 years working with small businesspeople as a coach, speaker, author and publisher.
For this latest book, McManus enlisted the help of former TIA president Wayne Croswell; Colony Tire CEO Charlie Creighton; Pam Gatto, president of 2007 Tire Review Top Shop Award winner Gatto’s Tire; Jody DeVere, president and CEO of AskPatty.com; Tire Industry Hall of Famer and president of Morgan Tire Larry Morgan; and Roy Littlefield, executive vice president of TIA.
According to the book jacket, “This book will move you, the owner of a small tire business, into an entrepreneur’s mindset. Your definition of ‘tire business’ will be altered forever. It will shift your motivation from making a living, to developing an asset.”
