Tirecraft Raises $106,000 for Breast Cancer Research

(Longueuil, Quebec/Tire News) To help raise donations for breast cancer research in 2005, over 80 Tirecraft locations either held their own fundraising events, or participated in the CIBC Run for the Cure. The final amount raised over the year was $106,759.

A total of 1,271 Tirecraft employees, families and friends participated in events, raising $83,000, while the remainder of the donation came from wristband sales through Tirecraft locations.

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Alberta and NWT Chapter recognized Tirecraft by nominating it in two categories for the Philanthropy Day Heart and Soul Awards, including outstanding philanthropist and outstanding corporation.
