Pennsylvania-based Sandone Tire is moving its warehouse to Keystone Industrial Park nearly two months after a fire destroyed its Scranton warehouse, the Scranton Times-Tribune reports.
The company signed a one-year lease in September for a property to house its operation after the Greater Scranton Changer of Commerce helped Sandone Tire find a number of properties.
The 55,000-square-foot property includes warehouse, distribution and office space.
Sandone Tire’s Scranton warehouse was destroyed by a blaze that burned for days after a fire broke out on Aug. 26. The warehouse housed an estimated 45,000 tires that were destroyed with the building and the company said it did not have enough insurance to cover the losses.
Before moving to Keystone Industrial Park, the business had been temporarily leasing a warehouse in Dunmore, Pa.
