For the fifth year in a row, Tire Review hosted its Top Shop Event, inviting this year’s Winner and three Finalists to Nashville for three days to spend time with their fellow tire dealers and share best practices to elevate the industry.
During the event, Burt Brothers Tire & Service, with 15 locations in the Salt Lake City, Utah, area, was named this year’s winner of the Tire Review Top Shop Awards Program, presented by Coats. This year’s Top Shop Winner and Finalists were also honored with a plaque, Top Shop magazine cover and their choice of a tire changer or wheel balancer from Hennessy Industries, makers of Coats tire changers, wheel balancers and inspection equipment. This year’s Top Shop Finalists include Telle Tire & Auto Centers, Plaza Tire Service and Lex Brodie’s Tire, Brake & Service Company.
In addition to the Top Shop Winner reveal dinner, shops were interviewed for upcoming content that will appear on Tire Review and were treated to lunch at the historic Miss Mary Bobo’s Restaurant, in addition to a tour of Jack Daniel’s Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee. The following day, dealers were treated to a tour of Hennessy Industries and selected their prize of a tire changer or wheel balancer to bring back to one of their shops.

Bridgestone Retail Operations, a subsidiary of Bridgestone Americas, introduced a phased roll-out of new logos and refreshed brand campaigns for the Tires Plus and Hibdon Tires Plus brands. This is the first brand refresh since Bridgestone acquired the two companies in 2006.
According to Bridgestone, updates to the logo include a single-color tire mark; a logo palette comprised of Tires Plus yellow, black and red; and refined typefaces of both the Tires Plus name and Total Car Care subhead.
The association said these workshops are designed to enhance technician’s technical expertise and keep them up-to-date with the latest industry advancements.
As part of the sponsorship, Kumho Tire will receive a significant footprint at each of the eight Formula DRIFT events in the 2024 series, including track signage and activation during race weekends.
