Tire Pros Dealer Celebrates 15 in a Big Way

There are older dealerships celebrating anniversaries this year, but few can beat the growth rate of Jay’s Tire Pros, which celebrated its 15 years in Bountiful, Utah, with a huge and unique customer appreciate day on June 8.

With the support of American Tire Distributors and its Tire Pros program, for that one day Jay’s Tire Pros sold tires at cost, plus a minor installation fee. The results were significant, said owner Jay Jenkins, with a record sales day for the store and a 300% increase over last year’s customer day.

A bountiful lunch of grilled sausage, hot dogs, beans, chips, cookies and soft drinks was served up by the dealership, as well, and customers could take advantage of free massages, and enter a drawing for free prizes that included several sets of tires and a Kindle Fire tablet.

Besides heavy social and traditional media pre-event promotion, the dealership grounds had large inflatable tires, flags, and signs to catch the attention of people driving by.
