Tire Factory Inc. celebrated the company’s rebranding to Point S Tire and Automotive at its annual meeting, entitled Quest for the Best, in Portland.
To date, the company has had 28 stores rebrand to Point S and 41 will be rebranded by the spring of 2016. The company announced it plans to have 100 Tire Factory stores rebranded to Point S by the end of 2016.
“We’ve seen overwhelming support for and commitment to the direction we’re heading as an organization,” Walter Lybeck, Tire Factory Inc. CEO said.
“Our members are our shareholders, and the name of this meeting, ‘Quest for the Best,’ truly symbolized the journey that our shareholders are making,” Lybeck continued. “The Point S brand has provided the means for us to secure better buying power, to grow our relationships with vendors, and to demonstrate our continued support of our shareholders’ success and expansion into new markets.”
It was first announced in May 2015 that Tire Factory would be rebranding its stores as Point S.
