Tire Consultants Group appointed Marty Wommack to oversee the business’s human resources, effective Feb. 1.
Wommack has nearly 25 years of experience in human resources, principally in the areas of automotive services and multisite wholesale, retail and service industries, according to Tire Consultants Group.
“Marty brings a new and critical dimension to our organization in the human resources arena,” said Skip Viola, president of Tire Consultants Group. “As we expand our operations, Marty’s skills and experience will prove invaluable in guiding our group forward. We’re pleased that Marty will be joining our team.”
Prior to Tire Consultants Group, Wommack held several positions, including vice president of human resources for the wholesale and logistics division of TBC Corp. During a period of rapid growth for TBC, Wommack provided guidance in numerous areas, including the integration of Treadways Corp. and Carroll Tire, and the expansion of NTB throughout the U.S., according to Tire Consultants Group.
Marty earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Education from the University of Georgia at Athens, Ga. He has experience with leading and developing quality standard certifications and has earned numerous industry awards.
