Timken Names Automotive Aftermarket National Sales Manager

The Timken Co. has named Brett Blauner the national sales manager for automotive aftermarket. Blauner will report to Brian J. Ruel, who was appointed vice president of Americas earlier this year.

In his new role Blauner will be responsible for managing U.S. sales development for the light vehicle automotive aftermarket.

Blauner began his career at Timken in 1992 as an associate sales engineer in Connecticut. He held various positions with the company until 2008, including district sales engineer, plant manager of the former needle plant in Georgia, global business development manager, pricing manager and market manager.

Prior to coming back to Timken, he worked as director of sales and marketing at Illinois Tool Works.

Ruel joined Timken in 1984 and is in charge of all activities related to Timken customers in both North and South America in his new role.
