The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has released a new consumer education video called, Tire Safety Starts with Installing Your Spare.

The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has released a new consumer education video called, Tire Safety Starts with Installing Your Spare. The video will cover the basic guidelines for installing a temporary spare tire and using a compressor with sealant to inflate a flat tire. This video is targeted for the everyday driver and is available on TIA’s website as well as it’s social media channels.

“It is important that every driver should know how to install a spare tire or use a portable compressor with sealant to safely inflate a flat tire,” said Roy Littlefield, TIA executive vice president. “Consumer education continues to be a top priority for TIA and we are excited to release another video that motorists can use to help improve tire safety.”

The video is another installment of the Tire Safety Starts with… series that has received more than 500,000 views on the TIA’s YouTube channel, Youtube.com/TireSafetyStartsHere.

“Motorists play an important role in tire safety and our new consumer education video is another example of why TIA is the industry leader in training and tire safety,” said Kevin Rohlwing, TIA senior vice president of training. “All of our Tire Safety Starts with… videos are free and made available for anyone to share with their colleagues, consumers, and professional networks.”

Manufacturers, suppliers and retailers can also receive a free digital copy that can be shared on their websites or social media platforms.
