TIA Announces 2015 ATS Tour Locations

The Tire Industry Association has announced 12 locations for its 2015 Automotive Tire Service (ATS) Advanced Instructor Training Tour.

These 4-day, in-depth hands-on training classes will be conducted nationwide with the goal of educating tire technicians on the proper safety procedures and guidelines for servicing passenger and light truck tire and wheel assemblies.

“The ATS Tour is helping to make training more accessible to retailers across the country and they continue to respond by sending employees to become TIA Certified ATS Instructors,” said Kevin Rohlwing, TIA senior vice president of training. “Over the last few years, we have seen tremendous success with the courses and have certified more than 400 instructors.”

Exact dates for each location will be confirmed and announced in the near future. The preliminary schedule is as follows:

February – Charlotte, N.C.
April – San Diego, Calif.
May – Minneapolis, Minn.
June – Wasilla, Ark., and Denver, Colo.
July – Chicago, Ill.
August – Portland, Maine
September – Seattle, Wash., and Baltimore, Md.
October – Cincinnati, Ohio
November – Sarasota, Fla., and Phoenix, Ariz.
