Advance Auto Parts Inc. has hired Thomas Greco as its CEO. George Sherman, who has been serving as interim CEO since January will continue to serve as company president.
Greco joins Advance following a 30-year career at PepsiCo Inc. Most recently, he served as CEO of Frito-Lay North America. Prior to joining PrepsiCo he worked for Procter & Gamble.

The Board is confident that Advance will benefit from Tom’s commercial expertise and energetic, solutions-oriented approach to leading complex, customer-focused operations in a competitive environment,” said Jack Brouillard, executive chairman of the Advance Auto Parts board.
Greco has a bachelor’s degree from Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario, and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business in London, Ontario.
