Tholens Elevated to CFO at Amtel-Vredestein

(Akron/Tire Review) Vredestein Banden executive Antonius (Ton) Tholens has been promoted to CFO of Amtel-Vredestein N.V., replacing Victor Nekrassove.

Tholens also serves as a member of the company’s executive board.

“Ton is already one of our group’s most valued executives. We are delighted that he will now be at the financial helm of Amtel-Vredestein,” said Alexei Gurin, the tire company’s CEO.

Amtel-Vredestein also announced several other appointments. Karen Topchiyan has been appointed CFO of the company’s OJSC Amtel-Vredestein subsidiary. Sergei Bokhanov was named COO, and will take a seat on the executive board.

Construction will begin in the third quarter of 2024, and production on the new line is planned to begin near the end of 2026 and be brought up to full capacity in the third quarter of 2027, Yokohama Rubber said.
