The Tire Choice Continues Rapid Expansion

(Akron/Tire Review) Hennelly Tire & Auto Inc., doing business as The Tire Choice & Total Car Care, just opened its ninth and 10th stores this week.

The Tire Choice is on its way to 35 stores in five years, according to Daniel W. Hennelly, Sr., chairman and CEO. The business was started on May 21, 2004.

One of the new stores, in Aventura, Fla., was originally an acquisition that Hennelly started 11 years ago with Larry Morgan of Morgan Tire. Finally, 30 days ago, the deal closed. “This is a very high-end market, and there are only two tire stores in the market; we now have one,” Hennelly says.

The other new store, in Bonita Springs, Fla., is a new-construction store located in a new shopping center. “This location took three years, from start to finish, to build,” notes Hennelly. “This market is all newer homes, a new developing market just north of Naples.”

And, there’s more to come. According to Hennelly, The Tire Choice will open another new-construction store on May 1 and seven more by the end of the year.
