Tire Group International said it is celebrating 20 years of continued success and growth.
In 1992, Miami-based TGI opened its doors and entered into the wholesale distribution of tire business. Since then, TGI’s main objective has been to offer its customers the entire spectrum of tire sizes and patterns at reasonable price points, to build long-term relationships with customers and suppliers, and to exceed expectations every time they deal with the company, TGI said.
Over the past 20 years, TGI has been able to develop four house brands Astro, Cosmo, Luna and Industar. It also has been awarded several tire brands to represent exclusively in specific territories, including: MRF, Cooper, Mastercraft, Sumitomo, GT Radial, Kenda, Mickey Thompson, Alliance, Milestar, Geostar, Geotrac and Falcon.
The company has opened local sales offices in Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Brazil, Peru, Ecuador and Mexico. Additionally, TGI has opened a quality control office in China staffed with qualifying engineers, as well as a logistics office to coordinate the growing volume of business with Asia.
TGI recently partnered with Transportation Resources Partners (TRP) and its affiliates the Penske Corp. and McLarty Associates, in order to further solidify the company’s future growth strategies, according to TGI.
“Today, after two decades of hard work and dedication, Tire Group International is the largest Hispanic wholesale tire distributor of tires in the USA and globally one of the fastest-growing companies in the wholesale distribution of tire business,” the company said.
