TBC Launches ‘Sumitomo Supercar Speedway’ Sweepstakes

TBC Corp., exclusive distributor of Sumitomo tires in North America, will send one lucky Facebook fan on an all-inclusive racing expedition as part of its “Sumitomo Supercar Speedway” sweepstakes.

Between Oct. 28 and Nov. 30, racing fans are encouraged to visit Sumitomo’s Facebook page each week to vote for their favorite American muscle car or import sports car.

Fans can advance through four virtual laps for a chance at the grand prize. Each week’s winning vehicles will advance to the next “lap” until a fan favorite crosses the finish line, the company said.

“Sumitomo tires can be found on a wide variety of high-powered, high performance vehicles” commented Jon Vance, TBC wholesale senior director of marketing. “Those owners appreciate the outstanding handling, cornering and all-season traction capabilities of Sumitomo and the great value they get for their money. We want to show our fans the same appreciation by giving them a chance to drive their favorite rides over a virtual finish line. Plus, they have an opportunity to enjoy a fantastic racing-themed experience.”

At the conclusion of the contest, three winners will be picked at random from the group of entries. The grand prize package includes round trip tickets for Charlotte, N.C., hotel accommodations, stock car driving experience and admission to the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Second and third place winners will receive prepaid Visa gift cards valued at $300 and $200.
