Tate Boys Tire and Service, currently celebrating 25 years in business, will move its Broken Arrow, Okla., location to a new store across town by the end of September, according to the BA Ledger. The new location offers Craig and Chuck Tate 4,000 more square feet and a location closer to a shopping center.
“It’s convenient for [customers] to get a bite and have their tires done. It doesn’t slow them down a bit,” Craig said.
The business will also extend its hour from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and stay closed Sunday.
Craid noted that extending hours will allow customers who work in downtown Tulsa to have time to visit the shop after work.
According to Craig, a retail designer, whose portfolio includes work done for Macy’s, designed the new showroom and waiting area.
Tate Boys Tire and Service was recognized as a Tire Review Top Shop Award Finalist in 2011.
