TIA Announces 2017 Hall of Fame and Ed Wagner Leadership Award Honorees
The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has announced the honorees for the 2017 Tire Industry Hall of Fame and Ed Wagner Leadership Award. The 2017 Tire Industry Hall of Fame honorees are; Godfrey L. Cabot, founder, The Cabot Corp.; William T. Conklin III, former president, Schenuit Tire and Rubber Co.; and Norman Gaither, owner, DSP 20 Group.
Deadline This Week for TIA Board Elections
The 2017 Board of Directors election deadline for the Tire Industry Association is Friday, Sept. 1. All TIA members that are in good standing and with voting rights are encouraged to participate.
TIA Adds ATS Training in Louisville
The Tire Industry Association has added new certified Automotive Tire Service (ATS) instructor classes in Louisville, Ky., on Oct. 10-13.
Continental’s Lannoo Nominated for TIA Board of Directors
Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket has announced that Sales Technical Training Specialist Sean Lannoo, has been nominated for the Tire Industry Association’s 2017 Board of Directors. Lannoo is one of 14 industry professionals who have been nominated for the position by the TIA.
TIA Opens Election for 2017 Board of Directors
The Tire Industry Association has announced the nominees for the 2017 Board of Directors. Four individuals will be elected to serve on the TIA board for a three-year term.
Titan Hosting Advanced TIA Farm Tire Service Trainings
Titan International has announced that members of the company’s Strong Seller associate dealer program will be able participate in the two upcoming Tire Industry Association Advanced Hands-On Farm Tire Service Training sessions hosted in Boone, Iowa. The three-day sessions will take place on July 25-27 and August 1-3, 2017.
TIA Board of Directors Elects Leaders

TIA Offering Additional ETS Classes
The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is adding additional 400 Level Certified Earthmover Tire Service (ETS) instructor classes. The additional classes are scheduled for June 19-23 and September 18-22 in Mason City, Iowa.
