The Chesapeake Automotive Business Association (CABA) and the Tire Industry Association (TIA) have testified against bills circulating through the Maryland legislature – one of which has been withdrawn that would classify used and scrap tires as hazardous material.

Maryland Proposes Ban on Certain Wheel Weights
Maryland introduced a bill, HB1328, on Feb. 12, that would ban lead and mercury wheel balance weights for all vehicles within the state.
