Bridgestone to Invest $139 Million in China Plant

Bridgestone Corp. is planning to invest $139 million to expand production capacity at its passenger car tire plant in Wuxi, China, to help meet an increasing demand for tires in the country. Expected to be completed by 2016, the expansion will increase production capacity by 5,300 tires a day, taking daily production to 22,600 tires.
