Bridgestone Americas has issued a voluntary safety recall for 36,000 Firestone FS561 commercial truck tires. The recalled tires only include FS561 tires in size 255/70R22.5 that are installed in trailer applications and were manufactured in the U.S. and Canada between Feb. 2015 and Jan. 27, 2016 (DOT weeks 0515 – 0416). California Shop Catches Fire

Collins Firestone in Gardena, Calif., was destroyed following an overnight fire on Nov. 25. More than 80 firefighters responded to the scene to contain the fire from spreading to adjoining buildings, according to authorities. Firefighters are investigating the cause of the blaze.
