Direct Tire Owner Barry Steinberg Dies at 75
Barry Steinberg started Direct Tire & Auto in 1974 after being drafted and serving in the Vietnam War. He grew the dealership to five locations in the metro Boston area and was named a Tire Review Top Shop Finalist in 2008.

Direct Tire Opening New Location
Boston-based Direct Tire and Auto Service will break ground on its 5th location on July 20. Located in Medway, Mass., the new facility will feature eight bays and more than 7,300 square feet., according to the dealership. The location is scheduled to open Nov. 1.
