Polish chemical manufacturer Synthos SA has been tapped by Pirelli SpA and its Russian partner Rosneft to serve as a technological partner for the development of synthetic rubber in Russia.
The three firms last week signed a memorandum of understanding to study the feasibility of developing the R&D, production capacity and logistics necessary to produce and ship synthetic rubber from a site in Nakhodka, Russia.
