Police have arrested a suspect for shooting and killing a 25-year-old outside a Dallas tire shop.

The suspect has been charged with first-degree murder and is being held on a $500,000 bond.

Police said the suspect shot at customers standing outside the shop, injuring several people with minor injuries, shooting one person in the chest and killing a 25-year-old male who was shot several times.

The victim was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

Police said the suspect claims he was involved in a gunfight after another person pulled out a gun.
