STL Offering Machinery Refurbishing

(Akron/Tire Review) Standards Testing Laboratories (STL) in Massillon, Ohio, announced it is offering a refurbishing service to update older testing equipment.

Refurbishing allows nearly a 60% cost savings versus the price of new testing machinery, according to STL.

"Whether it is an FM (Fabricated Machine) manufactured by STL, or machinery from another manufacturer, we are capable of upgrading it to include the latest computer controls,” said Cheryl Schnuth, vice president of marketing and technical sales. “We can quickly respond with a cost estimate for the refurbishing service."

"We can upgrade the older equipment to a hydraulic, closed loop, servo control with the latest software package for automatic operation," she added.
The refurbished equipment carries a one-year warranty, the same as new STL testing equipment, noted STL.
