Speedco Adds Nationwide Battery Service Program

In an effort to maximize uptime and keep commercial fleets on the road, Bridgestone Americas launched battery services at its more than 50 Speedco locations nationwide. This includes free battery testing and the additions of Interstate Group 31 Commercial Truck batteries to the service center’s product offering.

“Speedco is working to defeat downtime by providing owner-operators and fleets the essential products and solutions their trucks need matched with the best customer service possible,” said Chris Ripani, Speedco president. “Batteries are an important part of that equation. Our free battery testing and the addition of battery replacement to our service offering will continue to make Speedco a convenient and trusted provider in the trucking industry.”

RNR Tire Express honors the legacy of franchisee Richard Rose

Rose was posthumously awarded with the franchise’s second-ever Lifetime Achievement Award.

RNR Tire Express (RNR) recently closed out its annual franchise conference, where it honored the legacy of Richard Rose, who it considered one of its “trailblazing franchisees.” Rose was posthumously awarded with the franchise’s second-ever Lifetime Achievement Award.

Members of the Rose family were in attendance at the conference to accept the Lifetime Achievement Award on Richard’s behalf. Rose's two sons will continue to operate their father’s franchise locations in Virginia and ensure his legacy continues within the RNR system and throughout the communities he services, RNR Tire Express said.
